Scottish Tablet is a celebrated and iconic confectionary in Scotland, but it is quite difficult to define. It is often compared to fudge, and indeed there are some similarities. I am often asked what Tablet is, and the best description I have is that it is a dry, crumbly, grown-up fudge. Traditionally it is found in plain (or vanilla) and whisky flavours, but I've found that other flavours work fantastically well, and I bring some of them to you here.
